The Hatchling package from Hostgator would be the most optimal plan for my static portfolio web page. It includes the fundamental basics to get my site up and going and accessible to the internet.
This package allows for up to 10 websites and can scale up to 40,000 vists per month. It also includes a content delivery network via Cloudflare which would allow for media and other assets to load in much faster for people around the world. Which, for my portfolio's case would be important.
Hatchling is also a very affordable package at just $10.99 a month which is akin to most streaming service subscriptions. This puts the package in reach for a lot of people and I believe it offers a lot for the price.
